       My Reiki experience with Gail was a very intense energy movement healing. Gail worked on my head twice to clear some sinus issues. In the process there was a huge energy wave surrounding us and making us both sway. It was a very warm and peaceful feeling and helped clear my sinus issues.

Gail is a very special reiki healer. She has been an amazing confidant to me and I can tell that she truly listens to Spirit. The first time that Gail worked on me it was only a few minutes in a healing circle. But, I could tell that something major had happened. She was able to take down a huge emotional wall in me. I could feel the resistance I had melt like butter. On another instance, Gail worked on my left knee. It was just a simple knee sprain. But, according to Gail, it wasn't just so simple. Reiki is a Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing technique. The Reiki treatments stimulate physical, mental, emotional healing, energetic re-balancing and spiritual growth.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means " the "Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the traditional sense, but is passed on during the attunement. A person who is been attuned to Reiki has experienced a very ancient technology for fine tuning the physical and etheric bodies to a higher vibrational level. Also, the energy centres or chakras are opened to enable the person to channel higher amounts of the Reiki energy.

Reiki flows through the practitioner as the receiver draws energy to those parts of their body that require it, in amounts that they can cope with. The practitioner is also treated to a lesser extent, as he or she gives the treatment. Energy enters through the practitioners crown chakra and passes through the upper chakras to their heart and solar plexus chakras and passes out through arms and hands to the recipient. The process does not drain the practitioner as it is not their own energy they are using.

Reiki also works on the physical level as well, it can relieve pain, help to regenerate organs and tissue and balance body energies. It also promotes total relaxation and works on the mental and emotional levels re-establishing well-being and equilibrium.

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. Reiki will work whether you believe in it or not.

While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are almost universal across all cultures.

The history of Reiki goes back to the teachings of Dr. Makio Usui, in the late 1800's, the founder of Reiki. His teaching have been passed down in written traditions. Dr. Usui looked for a way to heal through the 'light of God' which is the way Jesus had healed. This set him on a journey of many years.

I am married with two grown children and two beautiful grandson's, Connor and Shawn. I reside south of Dallas, Texas with my husband. I enjoy gatherings with family and friends every chance I get. I am an awesome grandma and love my grand babies so much. Children do have a special place in our lives and in my heart.

At age 50, I decided that I wanted to do something different in my life. I had a lot of experience with spirit growing up and was uncomfortable with it. After years of trying to block it, I decided to work with it and that is why I joined a development circle. There I learned many things, met many wonderful and gifted people, there I found my true calling.

I am a Reiki Healer and an Ordained Minister. I started out as a developing psychic attending a meet up circle each week to help develop my abilities. Along the way Reiki was introduced to me and it resonated with me so much that I decided to start classes. I have had level one and level two attunements and doing Reiki sessions with many people with great results.

I am very excited about working on being a Master Reiki Teacher as I work with Vicki High, my Reiki Master Teacher, who also works with "Heart 2 Heart", which is another Healing modality. Vicki is the author of the book "Heart 2 Heart" and is a very good mentor and friend.

I believe that everyone is worthy of Love, Forgiveness, and Compassion. I truly believe that each one of us is God's child and we will all return home when our work here is finished . No matter what, so long as we choose it, we have free well, and with that comes the choice to return home.

Gail asked me to teach her Reiki. As we completed her attunement, I remembered how beautiful this energy is and how she followed her heart in response to this healing energy we know as Reiki. I can personally vouch for Gails integrity and ethics. She showed promise and natural talent when she took my class Psychic Development A-Z about a year ago.
